Katricia's Recipe

It was hard to pick a favorite recipe! I thought you might enjoy a dessert, so here's my adaptation of blond brownies. They remind me of like a chocolate chip cookie bar. They are a favorite in my family and don't last very long when I make them. Be sure to get the brown sugar and butter light and fluffy, the better you mix it the fluffier your blond brownies will be.
Blond Brownies

3/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
3/4 cup dark chocolate chips
Instructions:
1. Pre-Heat the oven to 350 degrees and grease an 11 inch by 7 inch baking pan
2. Using your stand mixer, add in softened butter and brown sugar into your stand mixing bowl and cream until light and fluffy (about 5 to 7 minutes depending upon speed)
3. Add the eggs one at a time in the mixture and beating well after each addition
4. Add in the vanilla into the mixture and beat well
5. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking powder and salt, mixing together with a spoon
